Dawn Bloom Books began in August 2024 — though at the time, I didn’t know it yet.

I kept seeing TikTok videos about something called ACOTAR. Everyone seemed obsessed. Quotes, edits, dramatic reactions — and I had absolutely no idea what it was. After finally realising it was a book series, I thought, “Fine. Let’s see what all the fuss is about.”

What followed was a rabbit hole I happily never climbed out of.

Romance and Romantasy quickly became more than just a genre — they became an escape, a comfort, and a creative spark. Late nights reading turned into kicking feet, favourite tropes, and an ever-growing stack of books that felt like home.

Dawn Bloom Books was born from that feeling — the magic of discovering a story that completely consumes you. I wanted to recreate the excitement of not knowing what’s inside, of unwrapping a book chosen with care, of falling in love with characters you never saw coming.

Each blind date book is thoughtfully curated, wrapped in mystery, and selected with intention. I choose stories I would genuinely recommend to a friend — books that linger long after the final page.

Reading may have started as a curiosity, but it quickly became a passion. These days, it’s a huge part of my world — alongside my husband, my dog, and a few other interests that patiently compete for attention.

I’m also currently writing my own Romantasy novel, and I look forward to the day I can share it with you — and maybe even include it as a blind date on this very site.
